This "Deck of Cards" is a fun and simple way to create 100's of different purses.
The set of 30 cards includes easy to follow directions with full color pictures and 20 different "design option" cards.
You choose the size of your purse, the style, the design or embellishments, the type of handle and your choice of flaps and closures. Instructions are included for pockets, zipper closure, hardware and magnetic snaps. Just pick a card!

The purses pictured below were all made using the What a Deal Purse Cards deck. Next to each picture is the "hand" of cards that created the purse.
Just follow the colored cards to create the purse shown. For example: Red 1, Blue 3, Yellow 4, Green 5 means that the purse was made using Red Cutting Card #1, Blue Design Card #3, Yellow Handle Card #4 and Green Closures Card #5.
The Ace of Spades
This is the "Classic" size (approximately 14" x 12").
A border striped fabric was used for the accent and handle.
It has a single strap handle and a magnetic snap closure.
It is decorated with a vintage pin.
Use Cards:

Ante Up
This beautiful bag is made from hand dyed and hand painted fabric. It has a single strap handle, decorative stitching, couched fibers and buttons decorating the "belt" and corners. This one is classic size, it is great as an evening bag in the mini size.

The Queen of Hearts
A classic where the fabric does the work for you. This "fingerpaint" fabric with its mix of color goes great with any outfit. The new pin is a fun addition.

The One Eyed Jack
This cute little bag is a MINI (Approximately 10" x 9"). The whole purse - lining, handles, everything is made from only 2 fat quarters. What a great way to use up those "pairs" of FQ's in your stash. They make great affordable gifts too.
Don't the points match well? It was made from "Convenience" cloth - you may know it as cheater cloth. But, doesn't convenience cloth sound better?

The Card Shark
This is the messenger bag style option. It is made from a black pin stripe base and handle fabric and the flap was styled to accentuate the paisley fabric.
This bag has a dowel and base for stability and is large and strong enough to hold folders and a laptop. It even has a business card pocket on the inside.

The Full House
This tote (approximately 18" x 22") will hold all of your supplies for classes, shopping or events.
The exterior pockets are a great place to use "stray" quilt or applique' blocks.

The Jack of Clubs
This is the older brother of "The Full House" above.
This is the tote size made from a recycled sport coat, some suede cloth, a couple of ties and a belt for a handle. It has a double magnetic closure and it "slouches" nicely when it hangs from your shoulder.
You would never know it was the same tote as the lady above.
Use Cards:

Yellow 1 (use belt rather than fabric)

The King of Spades
Do you have more ties? This classic sized purse is made from about 10 ties. You can do a Mini with about 4. Don't forget the old tie tacks and tie bars for decoration.
This makes a great "memory" gift for friends and family.

Yellow 6 & 4 (yes, you can use more than one idea per card)

This hand is a dog!
This is a Mini, but the picture is enlarged so you can see the dog. The belt and handles are leather dog collars. The picture is a photo transfer of the "King" of our house.
